A week Saturday, it’s time for the Big Dog 2014 in Stanmer Park, Brighton. Me and course designer Paul rode the official route tonight to get a GPS map that we can share. The Course is 5.4 miles long with 850 feet of climbing and singletrack forever. It’s a great course this year which I can’t wait to race on, oh and have tea and cake.
You can get the GPS route from our STRAVA and get out for a ride. Also available from Garmin Connect.
I will be going with the Velo Café’s Thursday MTB ride next week where we will be pre riding the course. If you want to come along, meet at 18:30 to ride out for 18:45 at the Velo Café.
Now time to get out there and enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a good course, looking forward to it. I bit more singlespeed friendly I think!

Yes I think so, although at race pace it will hurt! Not a lot of rest for a singlespeeder. Single track is ace though

Looking forward to it! Need a partner tho… I’m signed up as a pair of males but one of us isn’t, anyone fancy joining me? I’ll be single speed but it’s just a regular pairs ticket so you can ride what you like. I think (?) I’m up for double laps if someone isn’t sure they’s up for doing loads?
