I can’t believe I haven’t featured a Jones yet! There are a few people around this area that are lucky enough to have one. Characterised by their love / hate looks and truss rigid fork they certainly are striking. Jimbo
OK, so I admitted I have a titanium fetish, I reckon it’s time to show you one of mine at last! So here’s probably the most used of them, the Kinesis Tripster ATR. I rarely ride on the road anymore and if I want to cover some extra miles then this is the tool for the job, I can combine some country lanes with pretty much anything I would normally ride on my MTB.
I’ve added a few extras to the original spec, it has the Exposure Revo dynamo hub and light fitted, so I can commute on it and I never have to think about charging my lights. Stan’s Grail rims, so I can run it tubeless and greatly reduce the amount of punctures I get with the overzealous descending it encourages. Just to finish it off is a Tubus Airy Ti rack, which carries a set of Ortleib rolltop paniers.
